Intro · はじめに

人間椅子 (Ningen Isu) were founded in Hirosaki in 1987 and have been writing Ranpo-soaked hard rock and doom ever since. The guitar and bass never left; the drum chair did, until it didn’t. This Primer is not their discography. It is four audible turns: the first records, the years the kit kept changing, the locked trio, and the moment a music video made strangers sit down. 初期 · The first chair

1987–1992

和嶋 and 鈴木 plus first drummer 上舘徳芳. Major debut, イカ天, the Sabbath-and-Ranpo grammar that never really leaves.

2004–2018

ナカジマノブ locks the trio. Drums get heavier, he sings some of the hour, and the band becomes a working machine instead of a revolving stool.
